When I first stepped into the Community Relations Specialist role for Emmanuel Hospice, I thought my role would be all about numbers. What I quickly learned was that every conversation and every task I do was really about people and the transformative personal journey they each go through.
Supporting Emmanuel Hospice is more than just with medical support- it is focused on dignity, comfort, spiritual care, emotional care, and holistic care- this is where Emmanuel’s Complementary Services come in. Emmanuel offers Music Therapy, Massage Therapy, Essential Oils, Virtual Reality, Pet Visitor, Acupuncture, and Grief Support to every person we serve. These services are only offered by Emmanuel Hospice and they truly make a difference.
